The bow has always been essential to the voice of the violin, viola, cello, gamba or double bass. Throughout history, its form has evolved alongside music itself — from the light, articulate bows of the baroque era to the refined, powerful designs of the classical and romantic periods.
From early Baroque till romantic, with screw or clip-in frogs, I make all kinds of Historical Bows. Having worked with a versatile range of woods, I am always open to experiment with new materials.

Whether your bow needs a simple rehair, a new winding, or more complex restoration, I provide careful, professional service for all kind of Bows.



I use only the finest quality bow hair, Mongolian, Sibirian, Canadian, white , braun or black. . Every step, from removing old hair to securing new bundles, is carried out with meticulous accuracy. I adjust the rehairing to match the unique needs of each Bow.

As well as crafting fine bows, I specialize in the careful repair and restoration of bows of all ages and conditions.
